HOSA
Nine members of the Sandpoint Health Occupation Students of America [HOSA] team have qualified for the national competition in Anaheim, California.  The event is scheduled for June 21 through 24 and costs each student over $1,100 to attend.
The club has undertaken an extensive fundraising commitment to cover the costs, and has already distributed phone books throughout Sandpoint and sold cookie dough and chocolate.
The club has not only spent many hours on fundraising, but continues to study as well.
"We have been raising money while continuing to prepare for testing," junior Kristina Mollenberg said.
Their next fundraiser will be a car wash at Payless Shoe Source on June 4.
